The patch failed - it seems to think I'm on 1.3.something. Maybe a clean reinstall of streamedmp is in order!

streamedmp.version.xml shows version 1.3.something, but the plugin and all the features are from 1.4.

Do I try modifying the version.xml file, or clean install the skin? I'm thinking a clean install

Clean Install is the best thing for you to do, as there may be other things not quite right.

    Hi,

To be honest it sounds like things have got confused and removinging StreamedMP and installing the latest full release is the best bet.

Have you applied any mods, tried beta version etc?

I have attached a streamedmp.config.xml configured to plugin version and checksummed correctly - copy this in to you skin directory and see if it shows updates.

    Thanks.

It's a production machine, so will go the safe route and do a clean install. Will test with your attached XML first though just to see what happens.

I had the same problems as the original poster. The new xml-file is a good remedy. Update patch was downloaded and everything is running fine so far.

Hi This is a general question about OnX. I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?
