sometimes the IMediaPosition::get_Duration is a lower number than IMediaPosition::get_CurrentPosition! happens after a channel change that uses the same stream url.

I think there is a good explanation for that. Duration is the available data in the buffer (i.e. you can seek that amount backwards) and the current position is the position in the stream itself and not in the TS buffer. This is needed for example so that subtitles are possible to be displayed after the TS buffer has been rolled over.

I did think of that, but it doesn't explain why seconds after changing to another channel it showed the Duration as being 26 seconds. Why not <3 secs? What is the math behind 26 (between 23-26 anyway)?
