If I attempt to record that channel that I am currently watching it won't start the recording until I either change channels or turn the TV off. Is this normal? Is there a work around?

Which logs do I need to attach? I have a hauppauge 2200 running on Vista Black Edition 32 bit. I have tested recording using Hauppauge Win TV 7 and it records the channel I am watching without any issue so it is just related to MP. I have had a look at the logs for both TV server and just MP but can't see anything obvious although I don't know what I should be looking for. I even did a complete uninstall and reinstall of MP and the TV server then reconfigured everything but it still won't record the channel I am watching until I change channels.
I discovered that the issue must be related to 1.0.2 because I uninstalled this version and installed 1.1 alpha and had no problem recording the show I am watching. I then uninstalled 1.1 alpha and went back to 1.0.2 only to find the same problem. I am guessing it is a bug in 1.0.2 that may only be linked to hauppauge 2200s. I am curious to know if anyone else using a hauppauge 2200 has this issue running 1.0.2 on Vista 32bit?
TV Server plugins are listed on this page, and "EPG Cleaner" can be downloaded from this page.
Note: I don't know what bitness the plugin has. It might be 32-bit, or it might be "any cpu". The plugin is not listed by the "MP Extensions" tool, so I don't know whether it has been tested with the most-recent MP releases.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!
EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Can anyone tell me the step-by-step procedure for bringing up a second channel in pip mode? I can only do it sometimes, after many tries, and it’s not clear what I am doing that makes it work on those occasions when it does. Cannot find guidance on the site.
Thanks, N.
Again, if anyone knows how to do this, would be much...

I note that you are using MP2. The following applies to MP1, but I think that MP2 is identical in this situation.
"TV Server Config" has a "TV Mapping" panel in the "TV Channels" section. On the "TV Mapping" tab:
The left column lists the channels that have not yet been mapped to the TV tuner identified by the drop-down menu just...
