I had to connect my AV to TV via SPDIF due to sync problems. Played "Adele" concert in WMP w/o issues, but can't get it to work in MP. AVIs and TV works fine.

This looks strange to me:

Is multichannel decoding possible with MS Audio Decoder outside WMC/WMP? Could you try to use another audio decoder (AC3)?

Tried a few - no luck. Strange that it worked w/o any probs in WMP.

OK... Fidling around I got it working using LATM AAC = LAV.
BTW:Using Avallonis there is no way to change this for vids.....

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
