I am on 1.8 FINAL now, and this issue just started after upgrading from 1.7.1 HOTFIX.
Aaaah, since your system specs still shows 1.7.1, i assume you were running that version. I could have seen that in the logs off course....
OK, so something after the 1.7.1 HotFix causes this issue...

After checking the logs i see some weird things like:
    Code:
    [2014-07-07 20:18:45,357] [Log ] [69 ] [INFO ] - MCE: Incoming button command: Left
    [2014-07-07 20:18:45,357] [Log ] [69 ] [INFO ] - MCE: Command "Left" not mapped
    ............
    [2014-07-07 20:18:46,687] [Log ] [71 ] [INFO ] - MCE: Incoming button command: Up
    [2014-07-07 20:18:46,687] [Log ] [71 ] [INFO ] - MCE: Command "Up" not mapped
and there are 87 more lines like this in your logs.

Can you check if the checkbox for the MCE remote is still checked? ;)

About Auto3D: the entries in your logs show all the connected devices. This part is in MediaPortal, and is used with this plugin:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...for-mediaportal-1-2-1-6-gui-tv-beamer.116708/
which should give you a 3D UI if you have a 3D TV. Those lines only show up when you run DEBUG logging (as you did by starting MP with the WatchDog).

Hmmm .. :) And still nothing is changed or have been unplugged. But glad to hear about Auto3D plugin..

But i've done some testing.. and if run firefox in full size "maximized", and change the tv input, then when i come back it is half that size. Could it relate to an update of my AMD drivers?

Don't think so (although i can't rule it out...)
I sounds like it has something to do with HDMI handshake issues and the receiver in between.

It does not sound easy :(.... Just funny everything changed when I upgraded to MP 1.8.. I will try to fool around a bit more and see what i can come up with..

THNX for all your help :)

I've Corrected this, and don't see this error either. It was caused by me doing a fresh install of my graphicscard and therefore it renamed my DirectSound output.

I quess this is what causes my problem. Before updating MP i deleted my ATI driver and installed it again, and i quess it has done something to my setup. If i change my tv input and go back to the HDMI input, wich is connected, to my HTPC, does something to my firefox size. So maybe i should look in that direction..:(.

Please tell me if you have any experince with this error...But for now i don't think this can be anything related to MP..

We have dealt with this in the past, and it has been fixed on our side in the 1.4 Pre Release:
    https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-1914

If i change my tv input and go back to the HDMI input, wich is connected, to my HTPC, does something to my firefox size.
I assume that when the connection between the receiver and your TV gets 'lost' (because of input change), the screen resolution gets changed to Win 8 minimum, which is 1024x768. When the connection is 'restored', it should switch back to 1920x1080.

Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

MP1 MP2 Odd Standby issue DE
Since I played around with all the settings as per the previous posts and despite putting everything back to how it was, as far as I can tell, now when my HTPC wakes up to make a recording it no longer does so in away mode. I will probably do a restore from a backup in the hope that that will resolve the issue.
