    Hi!

Thinking about the future of Black Glass skins, i would like to take a brief survey about the resolution you are currently using on your systems.

    Thanks

AW: Which resolution are you using?

While I assume, that nowadays most people use fullHD resolution (1920) on TV - istn't it so, that performance is much better using 1280 resolution and scaling up?

As my 32" 1920x1080 native resolution Samsung LCD TV is made for Full-HD, I am all the way for this option. Bring it on Tgx! :D

Also bear in mind that probably 99 % of all TV's that will be bought will be 1920x1080...

1366x768 (720 is written all over the tv, but that resolution is not supported when trying to switch to it)
    1280x720 (standard)
    1920x1080 (standard)
1218x688 (it claims 720, but is actually 1366x768 with forced overscan that you can not turn off)

these are the 4 resolutions I use on my tv's/projector. (all 16:9)
I think the 99% comment above is way off the mark, even TV's that claim they are 720/1080 use odd resolutions and then overscan to approximate those standard resolutions.
Many also do not offer any type of screen size adjustments for digital or vga input.

Just do a google search on tv resolutions and see the millions of people who are pissed about their oddball resolutions on their new TVs that claimed to be 720/1080.
It's a common thing and rather annoying...

currently BG and BGN look great on all resolutions, even full 1080p. (to me)
as long as it is 16:9, it scales really well.

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
