The only 'media center' interface the Xbox 360 can show is the MCE one, unless you hack it of course (which hasn't been done, yet, and probably isn't suggested if you go on Live).
If you don't have that, the closest you can get it by installing Windows Media Connect and sharing your music, pictures and videos.

I'd suggest you try another SVN date. Also, make sure when you apply the SVN download, you apply it to a RC3 installation, not another SVN installation.
That is, install MP RC3, then apply the SVN on to that.
The error seems to suggest you're mixing old files with new files.

If anyone who does not know about codecs reads this post, please steer clear of codec packs (and unfortunately that includes ffdshow)
if you want to play xvid/divx use the freely downloaded ones from the official sites.
They cause less problems in the long run and keep you :D
