Hey i got my card working great i think is was due to a patch i got from the microsoft web site "Windows XP TV tuner program stops responding or displays corrupted video" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896626 and the best thing is i dont get my pc restarting randomly now, Good luck.

I've got it working by stopping the Hauppauge IR32 app and deleting it from start-up.
The only problem is that I now cant start MP with the remote, but I can live with that.

I've fixed this problem myself.
Phase 1:
Uninstall MP
Uninstall all Hauppauge applications
Run Hauppauge HWclear app
Reinstall Hauppauge Nova-USB2-T driver
Reinstall and configure MP (plain 0.2.2.0)
Reinstall Hauppauge IR32 (I know - wrong order and no entry in irremote.ini!)
Result - exactly the same problem :( TV has jitter...

this was an issue with the latest Mepo skin for some people (the overlay bar, not the choppy).
The fix is as below:
