quick update: I have made a little batch file that automatically change the resolution to 1024x768 and then resets it after I quit MP (using MultiRes tool). Works great!
now only problem is running DVD.... I'll dig that. Thanks!

I totally agree with you on this. In the past you could slow down scrolling speed with a frame per second setting under the scrolling speed section. This setting now seems to do nothing and the scrolling speed is so high that using a remote that emulates a mouse to control MP is impossible :( .
