Yep have not had a problem with the TV viewing sice about a week since i installed the mediaportal-svn-06-18-2006--20-04 SVN. I think ill install a new one every two weeks or so even if not needed :)
Just to make sure the current update is working ok.If so i have one to fall backon if the new one craps out on me.

following Problem: The EPG over DVB-T (Germany / Berlin) isnt working. I reinstalled my tv card but it seems as i changed...
I realise that the 'source' is only 720*576, and it's being scaled up, but this was as though it was 360 * 288 and being scaled up.. the aliasing and lack of detail was profound, especially since I am running this on a Projector with a 108" screen..

I used the drivers at http://www.yakumo.de/downloads/drivers/DVB-T/Quickstick/BDA_Driver.zip and they worked without issue, MP detected the card as a Hama/Eurostick/Yakumo DVB-T Stick/Box and scanned perfectly. I hadn't used the supplied drivers at all on this PC so you may have some of your old drivers hanging around your setup...

what people want is that the TV and recording engine becomes a service, which could run on a server and stream (via IP), TV to thin clients (without TV cards).

SDK = Software Developer Kit, this is only needed if you intend to develop DirectX software. To compile and develop MP you need this.
To run MP you only need to install DirectX 9.0c, the redistrubtion package is about 34MB and can be found in the Essentials area of the download section.
