Interesting. I just had a tinker with the Nvidia Audio codec properties, and if I set the SPDIF mode to ProLogic, rather than SPDIF (so the signal being sent is MP2, still over the SPDIF) the problem with the loss of audio no longer occurs.
I'm going to investigate different version of the codec to see if the behavior is the same...

Its MCE2005, it works ok. It'll record one channel and watch another etc. It just wont show certain channels.

Since it seems you're trying to use 0.1.3.0 (which is very old): software cards are not officially supported in that version and you're lucky if it works with that version. Apparently you're not :(.

Can I ask if updating the svn, which you say you have tried several times. ONE update svn ok, putting svn over the top of another svn may cause problems.
You need to uninstall and then delete the old mediaPortal folder.
If you do not, you risk screwing up your installation and never being able to put things right.

mPod, thanks a lot for looking into this.
A quick test showed that the function is working properly in the video and picture modules. However, it does not work in the music module because the Music Windows don't have the "Delete Item" action assigned to their 0 keys (I use an X10 remote).

Just to let you all know that im still working on it. Got one bug left to fix then I can release a beta. Does anyone have any experience on why mkisofs.exe sometimes crashes with a stackdump? If I call it from a bat file in a command line then all ok....but if I call the same bat file from MP it crashes.

Do you mean you don't have EPG data ?
There are many ways to get these informations but it depends on your configuration (country, TV-Card Type, personal preferences)
Main one are :
WebEpg
DVB EPG (see in configuration.exe)
XMLTV
Search this forum for other way...or ask with some more details in this forum.

It works out of the box, no need for configuration.
Just enable it in windows, find your mobile & connect it. It will work as an mouse or whatever your mobile can do.
I just use a modified skin (on the mobile) for MP nothing else.
