Thanks for the reply. I couldn't find either a ehome driver in the msconfig startup or a hauppauge.xml file in the user folder. Didn't have a try and search the whole drive fro a hauppauge.xml file but Ill try that when I have the time again.

I just installed the new rc3, and I saw a little bug. In one window of the installer, the "MediaPortal SingelSeat" one, the button for selecting a path of MediaPortal don't have the label/text.
Attached the screenshot.
P.S.: I choose the Italian language in the installer.

I don't see anything bad in the new logs.
Also, quartz.dll is an MS file that ties in with directshow. old versions may cause issues with displaying video.

I have now found the solution. All I needed to do was to install CoreAVC codec. HD TCV now works fine.
