Now everything is working as it should.
I did like swede said and live-tv was 50 fps, the reason that it didn't work the first time was that I did it thru VNC and the reason why I used VNC was that the family used the TV at that moment and I didn't think that VNC should make...

I have activated blur/nr, resize & aspect in ffdshow and i use MPV video decoder in MP but the ffdshow Postprocessing still gets activated when i watch DVD's and i haven't enabled ffdshow decoder filter in the MP dvd post processing setting.

Solved my problem today with ATI MPEG Decoder and ffshow Audio Decoder. No other combination was able to play DVDs without any problems. This combination works like a charm.

I had the same problem, this is how I solved the problem:
1) Uninstall Catalyst
2) Reboot the PC into Safe Mode
3) Ran "Drive Sweeper" from Guru3d.com
4) Did a search in the registry for "ATI" using regedit, found something like 50 different keys relating to the drivers - removed all of these
5) Rebooted and installed 8.9

I hadnt had the change doing anything last few days, but today I fixed another thing: the sound.
When I set the audio decoder to ffdshow instead of MPA decoder, then I am able to control the sound, on all movie formats (including finally .iso!)
