about vista and xp i dont have a choice as i want to put it into an old computer and if i put vista then im sure it will not run smoothly. so until a new computer comes ill give it a go using xp...lets hope that it can handle that.

As this is a hybrid would recommend using TVE3.

There are mods of the 9600 around that produce a RGB interlaced signal to be guided direct to the TV via SCART. Perhaps try these. They are named RADEON XXL.
