From watching the log, The configuration crashes at this point all the time

Good to hear. If it was crop settings that is helping it then definately was the broadcaster sending some extra "data" in the top part of the screen (this is pretty comming :().

The TV Server comes up - it´s arround 29MB in RAM - and after a while he has 50MB.

Huh. It doesn't matter that these are fan-encoded video and audio streams, so for sure no AACS? I could totally understand if MP couldn't handle AACS, but again it's surprising that even some fan-created disc images aren't handled.

Sorry, but you're right out at the edge of what I know. I don't have a QAM tuner card yet, so have never gone beyond the straight SD analog lineup. I will say that the digital channels in SD are usually a different prodiver. So if you'd added "my cable company" as a provider, there may be a "my cable company (digital)" as well...

I just installed the RC3 version of media portal. I have a pvr-500 and a 7134 chipset kworld atsc 115 with BDA drivers...
It was the pinnicle 310i card.. it shows as two cards in the server configuration... one for analogue one for digital... disabling one of the "cards" made it work... no digital in my area so thats what i disabled..
all works good now
