If I attempt to shutdown MP after watching MY TV the MediaPortal.exe program still shows in Task Manager. As mentioned in the previous question about memory footprint, it still consumes 350MBytes. The only way I can find to kill the process is by terminating it using Task Manager. Is this correct?

I'm using a Hauppage Mova-T 500 dual DVB-T card. I expected the EPG to be updated over the air and to be available very quickly...
Today (one day after the inital installation) i had to rescan all channel TV (the last scan didn't save...).
Then, i've sorted the channel listing (drag&drop) + put the right channel numbers (1->55) and finaly have made an export.
Now, everything's ok and my TV channels are well sorted.

well, thats a hidden directory. so start your explorer, type %ProgramData% in the adress-field, and voila!
copy the thumbs there, and it works. admin-rights would be fine, btw.

Use MCE standby tool, to configure your computer settings to make sure it supports standby hibernate correctly.
