5.1 audio via hdmi from itunes trailers (1 Viewer)

I have ffdshow, and it is set NOT to encode 5.1 streams, as i have a 5.1 amp... This works fine for wmv with 5.1 wma audio... Also i tried to have ffdshow encode, but it still just outputs trailers in stereo.
I prefer not to reencode the audio, but if that is not possible, and someone have a solution that works involving reencoding audio, i am all ears

really? :/ Back when mytrailers was actually working for me, most HD trailers (for action movies at least) had 5.1. Oh well

i noticed sometimes the 720p versions have dd 5.1 while the 1080p versions only have stereo :/

Yes now i have checked it out. The 300 trailer from 2007 have 5.1 but the dark of the moon from 2011 does not... *sigh* On the bright side i have confirmed that it works on my setup

I uninstalled MP, made sure no sub folders were left n any programmes folders, changed the computer name, rebooted, installed MP and set logs and rebooted and ran TVServer. Didn't do anything in regard to S Loopback adapter.
