The Artec T1 dvbt usb has been a best selling card in PC World in the UK for the best part of a year, but this is the only mention of it in the forum. At one time (August Bank holiday) they were selling it for £35. For that price it is wonderful value. Has no other user tried to get it to work yet?
My brother has one, and the software it comes with isn't brilliant so I might persuade him to let me load mediaportal onto his pc and have a play.

VLC has a browser add-on that allows you to start a video selected in your browser in VLC, you then can use its record button. Doesn't always work though, my guess is it won't on protected vids but it is the only thing I have found other than the excellent download capability of Online Videos when available.
