I cleaned out any individual files from the ftp server, they were outdated anyway. That would explain why there aren't any mesfilms fiiles. I don't know why mymusicvideo.xml didn't make it into the archive. In fixing stuff in two skins and copying things back and forth, something could have been erased before i created a zip file. I'm uploading a version as i write this post, and i double checked to make sure mymusicvideo.xml was in the zip file.

The creator of the wikipedia plugin sent me a pm about possibly changing the plugin. For now i've included an xml file that will work with what is there. That is the only change since the last update earlier this week.

Hi Boilermaker,

I just found another slight oddity - the OSD that appears when pressing "Pause" while watching live TV is out of alignment. It looks like the rectangular blue background is too low on the screen, the elapsed time font is too large and the "Pause" indicator at the top of screen is off to the right.

To be consistent with pause for recorded TV, or DVD, the "Pause" indicator should be at the top centre of screen and the elapsed time font a little smaller. Actually, I am surprised that it is not the same xml that is used for all "Pause" actions?

error confirmed...i'll fix it and post an updated version on Sunday.

The video and TV OSDs use separate xml files...but your post gives me the idea to create an include file that can be dropped into each. That way the play, pause, etc. buttons will be consistent and if i have to make a change, i only have to in one place.

That being said, yesterday i uploaded a version to the ftp server linked in the first post in this thread, and the mp repository. I was waiting for the repository to review and post the skin before posting here.

I just tested the latest version, and I think there are still some issues with the live TV Pause OSD. I may have this all wrong, so please feel free to correct me ...

By playing around with the mytvFullScreen.xml, this is what I have concluded:-

Under “Current time”, the label should be #duration, instead of #TV.Record.current?

Under “Start Time Info”, the label should be #TV.View.start, instead of 0:00?

Under “End Time Info”, the label should be #TV.View.stop, instead of #duration?

I have made these changes and it now looks fine to me, on the assumption that the large time displayed on the bottom right is supposed to represent how much of the current program is in the timeshift buffer - this I am not sure of?

Text Alignment Issue

Hi,

I have a attached a screengrab of a text alignment issue that I am getting when I change channels.



And the elapsed time in the bottom right of this image is also out of alignment.

I have never seen that particular OSD appear, but I only use the mini-EPG or the "Channel Change" button on the MCE remote to change channels....

Hi Taipan

I just use the channel change button (numbers) on the MCE remote and that OSD appears quickly and then is replaced by the one in the bottom left of the screen that tells you what is currently viewing and what is the next program.

It's been there for as long as I can remember swapping up to 0.2, maybe even longer?
