I'm having problems with the latest svn (the 2nd 9/11 release), but not things being cramped on one half the screen. When i enter my videos or my music, the osd keyboard keeps popping up. Sometimes when i escape out of the keyboard, the background disappears. I know this is because there is a lot of work being done in my music (and possibly my videos). After getting rid of the keyboard, things seem to work ok. Since the behavior is the same for me in regular blue two, i'm going to hold off on updating things until they are more stable. I'll hopefully run into Harley on IRC in the next day or two and see if i can get an idea of what is planned for these sections skin-wise.

In general, if there is an update to the regular blue skin in the svn, it's going to take me a day or two to update this skin. I download the svn at the same time everybody else does, so there is always going to be a delay between a change in mp and when i can update the skin. Also, when posting a problem regarding an svn version, please post which day you are using. It will not only help me, but others that may be experiencing a problem.

    Thanks.

Most of the screen is black, the actual content is cramped within the left half of te display.
knutinh, i now know what you were getting at...somebody else added that file to the svn, must have just copied it over from regular blue two into the 16x9 skin. I'll reskin it and add it to the svn today.

While watching a show that is in progress of being recorded, I see the following when watching it:

    Pic1 Pic2

The first image displays the text in the back instead of the actual time and position.

The second image I noticed the positioning of the orange portion was outside of the boarders (not the worst thing but just an observation.

Also with the new download from the main site, the My Dvr-MpegCut works like a charm!

Good to hear...it was a little sluggish on my computer, but i figure it was because i was running an svn version. In the next full version, the buttons are a bit bigger and lined up nicer. Those changes have already been made in the svn version.

A fixed version of music now playing was added to the svn, as of the first svn release on 9/12 it was working. I don't think they have changed now playing since, but if they do i will follow up with a changed xml file in about 24 hours.

I'll try to fix the osd problem tomorrow. The last two svn versions i've tried have broken tv on my setup, so i'll have to revert to a non-svn .2.0.4. It will be fixed in the main version for sure, and in the svn as soon as i get one running on my setup.

OSD fixed. I removed the control that contained the #TV.record.current tag, it wasn't present in the regular bluetwo skin. Also corrected the size of the progress bar (reduced 6 pixels to match the value of regular bluetwo). Change should be available in the next svn; new zip file is being uploaded to the main site as i'm typing this.

Please read some of the previous posts, because this has been address several times....Now Playing along with the rest of the music section is going thru some changes. When there is something in the svn that requires a change in the skin, it will take 24-48 hours for the skin to be updated. I see the svn versions the same time that any other normal MP user does . That 24 hours or so is the time it takes me to download the svn, find changes, edit the xml, test, upload them to the svn and for a new snapshot to be generated.

    EDIT:
I just updated to MediaPortal-svn--09-15-2006--09-28-Rev10307 and Now playing worked on my setup in both skins. It may not look exactly the same, but all the functionality is there. Please be more specific than "it's not working" when posting a problem, so i can help. If anybody else is having a problem with Now Playing, please let me know. Thank you.

TV Server plugins are listed on this page, and "EPG Cleaner" can be downloaded from this page. Note: I don't know what bitness the plugin has. It might be 32-bit, or it might be "any cpu". The plugin is not listed by the "MP Extensions" tool, so I don't know whether it has been tested with the most-recent MP releases. -- from...

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos. Works, so far.
