I believe that the 4:3 will be mucj better than 16:9, since the initial release (2006) was 4:3
I know I am digging up an Old thread, but is any one going to update this skin MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - Xmas 2006 for the latest version. I thought I would ask now as it is 4 months out until Santa comes. If no one is willing, I may have a go myself.....

Yes - good idea to start early.
With the likes of Aeon, the other option would be to search the net for a few Christmas backgrounds in 16:9 dimensions. Or maybe some of the artists amonst us can help?

The only configuration that is certain to work is when the MP client and MP server are from the same release.
