Hi Cul8er,

Can I point your attention to an other plugin as well? It looks very cool. IT is called "HTPCinfo". See THIS link.

Here is an example of what I mean. Would be a nice to have thingy.

thanks for this great skin, been using it since the first version.

I have two minor issues you might want to correct in your next release:

1. In the "Vertical Menu with RSS" style, dynamic weather does not work. Basichome only shows the generic background image from Animations/weatherbg. Other menu styles work fine.
2. In the Showtimes plugin, the "select cinema" view shows a random movie description on the left hand side while presenting the choice of cinemas on the right hand side (see screenshot). After you select a cinema, you are then prompted to select a date. This screen has the same issue. The left hand side info should be removed from both screens.

I will not add any new plugins to the next release. It will only contain bugfixes and graphic improvments. I will see if I can add them at a later stage.

RSS, cannot scrol with remote

Hi Cul8er,

First of all, great skin!

Since the skins RSS viewer is using an internet browser I cannot scrol with the up and down buttons on the remote, it only works with the arrow keys on the keyboard.
Zooming in and out with page up and down buttons on the remote does work.

First of all, thank you for a nice skin!

However, the last couple of days i have been having problems with the skin/the configuration of the skin.

If you don't touch anything it's all working out nicely, but when opening "XFactor" in plugin', i am receiving mysteriously errors...

First time i open config, everything works out fine. Making the adjustments that i like, pushing the save and then the "Generate new..." Here the problems begins
Windows are coming up with an error box, and after that the skin doesn't work at all anymore.

First time i experienced this, were just after installing the plugin "OnlineVideos", so in the thought that this was creating the problem, so i
uninstalled it - no difference
As this didn't work, i tried a few other things
restored the pc a couple of days - no difference
complete uninstalling, and reinstall (with 1.0.2) - no difference
complete uninstalling and installing newest alpha + svn - no difference

After this i got tired of search and find nothing, so i did a format c, and started over again
But still the same problem, so i once again tried uninstalling, and this time install the beta (just got released the same day as formatting), but still the same error

If this error got nothing to do with your skin i am :sorry:, but as far as i have been experimenting, i only encounted the error when running the XFactor config

It only happens the first time (if I repeat this when it's reached it's minimized state, it is as it should be), unless I press up twice to bring the extended one up, then the same effect happens again (like the first). It does look a little weird, is it fixable?

Yes, I can confirme that it happens to me also, so I hope that cul8er will have a look at this as soon as he can.

Hi Spannari,

This error indicated that an xml file in the xfactor skin directory is invalid. This can be due to some special characted that you use in text in your modified basichome.

Can you please attach your basichome.xml file so that I can verify.
