* The logo support in this release is compatible with MP1.0.2. If you use MP1.1 change the line "<!-- <import>videoLogoSupport11.xml</import>-->" in the file "videoOSD.xml" to "<import>videoLogoSupport11.xml</import>" and the line "<import>videoLogoSupport102.xml</import>" to "<!-- <import>videoLogoSupport102.xml</import>-->".
If you take a closer look, you'll see that there is a difference in colour between "TV" (black) and the other items in your screenshot (grey). But you are right: this difference should be bigger (but pls no white text on yellow bg) - it's hard to tell them apart...
I don't like the idea of outlined text (looks awful IMO) - I would prefer changing the background of the text as it's done in music list view or playlist for example. Could be that this would mean changing the bg of the whole submenu stripe...Once you mentioned this, and I had a (really) close look I was able to see the difference between the selected and non-selected text, but this is really minor and certainly not visible from several meters away on the lounge (at least not on my TV).
I was thinking something with an outline might be better (see pic attached).
