Hi,

is it possible to fill up "program gaps"? I mean gaps which occur if the channel has no program or the page where the program is grabbed from doesn't list it.

hi
i did it by simply adding empty channels to the list calling them empty or by their providers name - like dvdbox and such, also if you use the group option - you just group all the channels you want and mp will zap only thru those channels also showing the epg only for the channels in the group - very usefull - a group for me, a group for my wife and so on.... :)

I think you misunderstood me. I'm looking for a solution for a case like this:
WebEPG grabs the program for e.g. "Eurosport" fine but on the grabbing source is no program information for the period from e.g. 1am to 5am. For this time I'd like to have something like in TVxb filling it with e.g. "No program available"...

There is a utility program around here that solves this issue.
I don't have the link at hand (I'm in office ;-) . Try to search in the WEPEPG forum.

    Regards
    /Gerd

I tried it and have to say it doesn't fit my needs... It might be good (although I don't like how the entries are created...) for channels without program at all but that's not what I was looking for.

James: Don't you have a solution for this?

You need to check the wiki for TVMosaic, you have recordings as source available once TVM is installed. And of course images and music are part of the NET6 version as for NET4. If you have issues with it further infos would be good.

I did a check of MP 1.36 x64 on Win11 and I can confirm, that the TV server correctly detects running MediaPortal.exe process.

I agree about the dash instead of colon on the LIVE thing. I did a little change to get the current program, just removed the D from the tags. Not that important, so I dont upload any new file. A little sad about the end time, but nothing to do about it.

It is possible to have both MP1 and MP2 installed on the same drive (I have a test partition with just such an arrangement). However... The TV Server parts of MP1 and MP2 start when the system boots, and TV Server runs all of the time, even when it is not recording and live TV is not being viewed. If both TV Servers were active, they...

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...
