    wait, did you put
    Code:
    rtps://waipu.tv/ARD rtsp://myusername:mypassword@waipu.tv/ARD
    like that?
I think those are meant as 2 examples...
    Code:
    example 1: rtps://waipu.tv/ARD
    example 2: rtsp://myusername:mypassword@waipu.tv/ARD

And if the 2nd example doesn't work, do you mind sharing your creds with me so I can do a deeper investigation?

Edit: but this all should normally be the result of your scanning.
The idea is to put the whole list (the file containing all streams, where you picked out the ard-one) in the TuningParameters\dvbip folder and then scan it within tvserver. that will fill the database with all available streams

We don't have a solution yet for that.
And as far as I see it, getting this to work in tvserver is really hard, the best I can do is in onlinevideos (so no record, guide etc...)

    Hi.
Waipu Streams are DRM encrypted. So it would be hard to integrate them in TV Server. I don't believe it is possible at all. Aside this they have changed their API a few days ago.

Kodi has two Waipu Plugins (there they called "Addons"). The first one implements Waipu as "PVR Backend" (aka TV server) so you can watch Live TV, schedule recordings and show EPG like with any other TV source. And the second one is a video streaming plugin (aka Online Videos) that also can play LiveTV, the VOD "channels" and recordings but EPG only for the recent aired show and no way to schedule recordings. As Waipu does it's recordings in the cloud you also can schedule your recordings in browser or app and later play them with the streaming plugin.
But Kodi has a completely different approach when it comes to TV. The Backends (in MP it is named TV Server) are independent of Kodi where matching PVR client plugins (aka MyTV) can be installed in Kodi itself. So you can use as much different "TV Server" as many different TV sources bundled unter one "Module". You can use DVB-S2 from MP TV Server for some channels together with free IPTV (like the German public stations) directly as m3u streams and Waipu or Zattoo for all that is not available via DVB and combine them in a single "EPG" with your preferred channel sorting. My own lineup is DVB-Viewer combined with free IPTV streams and Waipu. So I can watch and record many different TV sources in one GUI with one EPG.

As long as there only is one TV server and only one MyTV plugin in MP it would be hard to achieve something like including Waipu as TV source.

For Zattoo (and some other sources) there is a "workaround" to have the complete lineup as m3u playlists with a helper Tool named "telerising". Telerising is platform independent (runs on Windows too) and transfers Zattoo Streams into a "regular" m3u so you can use Zattoo in TV Server as usual IPTV source. Due to the DRM encryption this is not possible with Waipu. If you want to have one of the "big" IPTV providers in D-A-Ch in MP TV Server you better use Zattoo, also Waipu is less expensive and offers more channels than Zattoo...

Hi, First off: there are some issues with the latest Mediaportal (32bits vs 64bits), so that is one of the issues you're stumbling with. If you take the previous version (1.31) it should work as expected. For IPTV there is also a different option (with different pros and cons): Onlinevideos. I'm using that sometimes for my IPTV as...

I've setup my HDHomeRun in MP1 as (4) IPTV cards rather than Atsc. I can see the (4) Atsc cards, but just have them disabled. I did it this way so I didn't have to edit the channel names every time tested a new TV-server install. Anyway, it works. I don't know if this would get you past the BDA driver issue. I'll provide more...
