Great looking screen

I am going to buck the trend and say that I like the look you have created with the different colors. It helps to seperate the different parts/menus of the screen easily. Great look as-is.

i don't like the green that much in the bottom or that kind of beige greyish color on the left but i really like the layout and the header colors keep up the good work

Thanks for the comments - I will post a screen shot with the green removed for comparison.

Question - Do you think it would be better if the round shortcuts were on a top bar menu which autohides and the current time and date in their place on the screen. When the menu appears it would be designed to look just as it does in the screenshot above?

Hi TVKiwi,

I agree with everyones comments so far. What would make the top menu "unhide"? Just thinking about Remote users, so if it's a "hover" action. maybe not so remote friendly....?

Can't wait for the final release (in Widescreen! :D )

What the people want the people get...

With regard to thumbnail views I was wondering since a lot of people are having trouble with smaller fonts whether maybe it would also be of help to make these views bigger - eg make ICON view the same size as BIG ICON and make Big Icon even bigger? Let me know what you think.

Hi TVKiwi,

I like your updated layout; it's very functional, distinct and clear! I would prefer to keep the ICON view at its present size, in order to display as much information as possible on a single screen, but then I'm viewing MP images on a large monitor.

Keep up the excellent work.

Nice!!!!

Nice!!! -- how log u gonna make us wait ;-)

I would like to see what you have in store for

- OSD's
- EPG Guide
- Dialogue Boxes

Could you please offer any insight on those if you have them.

VERY NICE by my look - I like the colors, not as soft or as basic as some skins and not overbearing.

Just my 2 cents but thanks for the efforts. PLEASE keep the shots coming and a release would be nice too...

I also like the idea but I think that the grey left part need some refresh. You can have it grey but maybe you can fade it between 2 diffrent grey colors.

This is a wonderful job and I really like it. I had no problem with the bottom right part being a shade of dark green and I think it was OK with the blue top so providing both options would be quite nice.

However I agree with the previous post and I think that the part with the buttons doesn't really fit with the two others parts. I don't know exactly how to express it (I'm not an english speaker) but the flat grey doesn't really fit with the two other parts. The fonts are OK but what about trying a blue or green background like the two others?

    Keep working on it!

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

If anyone ever experiences the above, I found a fix. Removing and reinstalling MP-TVSeries fixed it. It must have gotten corrupted during the reinstall of MP. I also had to do the same with TRAKT which had some issues too that were not apparent at the time. All is well once again.
