Titan - Bug Reports & Issues (6 Viewers)

Here's the first bunch of bugs I found:

1. missing information for Minidisplay plugin in basichome menu --> display shows only #itemLabel (for every menu entry, no matter if it is the main tile or the submenu entry)

2. plugin page: you cannot access the "Menu" at the top of the screen. If I press "up" nothing happens. By the way, I'd love a vertical align for the plugin entrys, but that's just nice 2 have ;-)


3. strange navigation behavior in the submenu bar:
a) by clicking on "right" the submenu bar disappears and nothing is selected anymore - not even the main menu tiles.


b) when I navigate from a submenu entry in the middle (maybe the second entry from the top) and click 2 time on right, then the bar after the first "right" disappears, after the second it appears again but there are no menu entrys there (Screenhsot 2)


Generally I would expect that navigating to left and right is not possible in the submenu, so nothing should happen unless there is a second submenu level due to a lot of entrys.

c) Request: I would love to click ESC to navigate from a submenu back to the main menu level instead of clicking down several times to get back to the main menu tiles; additionally it would be cool to click "up" on the top submenu entry to go down to the bottom submenu entry.

4. there are still lots of .xml-files where the textcolors are defined with a color code instead of using "styles" defined in the references.xml. It would make color theming much easier if all skin files refer to a color definition in a central file, so maybe this could be realized some day?

5. Detail view in Moving pictues is still fucked up has problems (esp. the format change when entering the technical details section) - I think most users would appreciate if you could integrate @powermarcel10's mod

I do not know what will happen, but I've tried it on two different computers.

Hmmm, this is a strange one! Wich resolution are you using? Does this happend with previous version(s) of Titan aswell?

I no longer use a VFD so I can not confirm this. If someone else can confirm this we can put in mantis or github. Also it would be useful to know if the labels for mini display plugin works in
A) basic home for default wide
B) basic home in Streamed MP

I can confirm this, pressing up or down in classic home-plugins submenu does not bring up the [restart/pwr/exit] window, but not sure if this is a bug or intended design.

These problems have been fixed in MP 1.4 pre-release version.

DefaultWide: working
Titan (without Theme): working
Titan Extended: submenu labels working, main tiles don't (#ItemName shown for every tile on VFD)

I originally wrote by mistake it does also not work for submenu items, but this is in fact not the case.

StreamedMP: not installed (and by the way, I think it looks very old fashioned and I absolutely do not understand why everyone is so keen on that skin)



Another thing: there are coming greatly reworked Titan skin files with the OnlineVideos plugin v1.6.0 - could you please integrate these files for future releases? At the moment you have to install OnlineVideos v1.6 again after updating Titan Extended for getting the new skinfiles.

ok so to confirm The labels work fine for basic home standard theme, but there is a problem with labels in the New Titan Extended (editable) Home Screen.

These problems have been fixed in MP 1.4 pre-release version.

Hi, I'm using 1.4 pre-release version and this problem still exists. Do you mean the next 1.4 version?

The navigation bugs have been fixed. What you describe is not a bug but a request for a different layout. I agree that powermarcel's mod looks better and I prefer it to the standard default layout. A Moving Pictures Detailed View: Lite Layout has also been introduced in 1.4 pre-release.

Can you confirm what I wrote about the minidisplay labels so I can add the issue to github.

Another navigation related one: when you once opened the shutdown menu (close MP, restart MP, Standby, etc.) and exit it again by pressing ESC, you are stuck in the shutdown bar and cannot exit it by clicking up.



EDIT: Not reproducible in MP 1.4 pre-release, so probably fixed -KiwiJ
