I have seen a difference between my skystar-2 card and my hauppauge tv cards on tvserver lastest svn. With the skystar-2 i have a cpu usage from 0-2% of tvservice.exe when timeshifting but with the hauppauge cards (Nova-HD, Nova-SE) i have 10-20 % CPU usage of tvservice.exe.
Can somebody confirm this?

Yesterday I was watching an video (AVI) when I received a phone call.
After the call. when I returned near the PC all menu text had disappeared.
All menubars still where there but the where all Bue.
Can this be caused by the new blue skin?

I think it looked fine blu3 and blue2 wide, but the time bar above the EPG in Blue 2 Wide was not as clear as the one in Indigo. Now I feel I need to check again, to make sure. ANyway, good to know it's targeted for a fix in 1.0.0.0.

ok i checked the recording folders and were all fine... so i restored the previous image and realised that it still wont record until you go to the tv screen... i then figured out the reason for this is because i have to restart my tvservice twice before it will do anything (dont know why) so what happens is after the first time it is...

My guess is somewhere in the transcoding phase where the raw video (YUY2) is converted into MPG2 during recording. The codecs used in decoding/encoding the data should be the same as well.

I spent some time trying other media yesterday... with an avi file I can skip and fast forward ok, and with live tv I can pause it and skip and fast forward it.
But on any recorded .ts file it just dies when i try to do this. If I run MP in windowed mode I can kill MP when it happens, but if I run full screen I cant get to task...
