just an update... i've reinstalled windows just installing dx9c,catalyst 8.7, sp3 and the ATI registry tweak but still blank screen in fullscreen mode....i'm going crazy!

We don't know if this is a configuration problem, hardware or bug, HELP.

OK this is a thought, is your output in the Nvidia control panel set to a TV HD resolution, try putting in as monitor with same resolution.
Apparently if no hdmi connection as TV, control panel disable the output, whereas if its set as a monitor this does not happen.
I take it MP is minimised when you turn TV back on, or does it...

In my setup, I use pvrscheduler (http://www.pvr-scheduler.de) instead of the MP powerscheduler plugin. i'm getting something similar, however mine seems to fail when i change from a HD channel back to SD and also seemed to be cyberlink audio codec based. i havent had much time to test MPA codec but it seemed not to suffer with the issues that the cyberlink one did.

Hi,
Changing to Title view from shares fixed the speed issue with opening directories, and returning to MediaPortal after the movie is finished, but it DOES NOT seam to have helped with the time it is taking for video to start playing.
Any other suggestions?

Yes, those controls are there, though somewhat hidden in the colors submenu of CCC, where you can find a dropdown selection box for "desktop" and "3D". Select "3D" then make your adjustments. Works as expected.
