The only things you need are .net2, windows installer 3.1, DirectX 9 (which you should have with xp sp2) and your TVcards software\drivers installed.
as long as you have above, then there is nothing to add.

Yeah, It's really odd that it isn't enough to select always on top in General setup, as I noted in my first post.
Now I've also tried de-selecting this option, restart and selecting it ("on top") again and stilll the same. I have to click somewhere for the Media-portal window to become in focus/on top.
Any other ideas?
