Hi, when i change the zoom on a bradcasted 16:9 show to 4:3 the people are short and fat, in other words, it looks like MP isnt...
I just edited that last post and added the Log. It's important to note that all I did was start Media Portal, press the tvguide on my MCE remote and hit page(chan) up and down a bunch till it crashed. I didn't select a channel or "Start TV" like the log states at the bottom.

It's hard to say exactly what's wrong without knowing in detail how you're trying to set things up. I find that most of the time when programs don't launch it has to do with the "Quotes around filenames" option. Try changing that. If that doesn't work, could you post a few screenshots of the setup?

never had a issue with it. all the formats that i use play great, they have never crashed. the only issue that i have is that live tv kills MP when i change channel the odd time.

Well, keep in mind, almost every SS2 users had some weird crashes or else after which nothing seemed to work.
If you will experience this once just reboot and try dvbviewer once - it almost magically did some stuff to "reinitalize" the card (or lnb?) and MP worked again :wink:

Those codecs didn't work for me either.
I tried RC2 with an SVN from January and that didn't work either.
The only thing that seems to stop the stuttering is if I hit the FFWD button.
