what about loading plugins and other features dynamically - I mean after starting the MP system base?
Is that possible with the architecture of MP 1 or will be that available in MP 2?
That would be a nice feature, because than MP will start lean (speed up also the boot time of MP) and only once a function/ plugin...

It really makes skinning complicated that some plugins (or built-in plugins) only will show your #variablewhatever if it is a label and not a fadelabel. Then you need to figure out what the maxlenght of this unknown variable MIGHT be, and pad other elements out of its way.

I've noticed the lack of consistency to skin formatting controls in the dialogs: images/text cannot be centerd, text in some cases...
We could just dump the DirectX video texture to the disk to allow such feature. But not at least with 1.1.0 release (as it is not the main use case for a HTPC application). Anyone volunteer to provide a patch? :)

Well, huh. I tried it again, trying it with both x32 FF and the step-forward button, and it went into Play mode both times. Maybe the previous time was just a glitch. I should have known more experimentation was in order!

This used to work for me but it's stopped working. Now whenever I watch an avi with two audio tracks it plays the commentary instead. Pressing A on the keyboard does nothing.
I have never installed Haali and I've always used MPA decoder (not ffdshow).
