Well, it looks nice when you have all the cover art. 9 out of 10 times I don't have the cover art. I bet it wouldn't look so nice scrolling through placeholders. Give me a text list any day

I don't think the original author wants anyone copying it unfortunately.

One of our skin designers over at MeediOS took some of the elements of the skin and incorporated them into chrome and the XBMC skin author requested he removed them which he did. I think he wanted to make the skin exclusive to XBMC this time as he's done alot of work on it.

The rounded coverflow does look great on XBMC.

We´re pushing the limit of the MP1 skin-engine. But I don't see any real progress before MP2 is out. I would also hate to se Aeon 2 on MP 1 because all the eye-candy would be out of reach...

Yes... But simple stuff like adding semitransparent layering like in the screen below for that overlay could be done quite simply in Photoshop.

Getting rounded covers isn't that hard for Moving Pictures as it can use .png (thus enabling transparency) files for the posters. I have this already for my movies. But it's a damn shame that MediaPortal won't let you use .png files for all thumbs (MyMusic, MyVideos). Someone will create a music plugin soon I guess, that shows "pretty names" instead of file names, and fanart easily and so on. If I had the programming skills, I'd do it myself.
