Me too ... in fact I prefer all bars or infos at the bottom.

BTW, is weather info in Basichome missing or maybe you prefer not showing it, antony?

I liked the green background of the last version - it looked friendly and neutral - sorry.

The backgrounds change every 30 seconds ;)

To the people talking about having the bar at the bottom: if you do that, you won't be able to show "playing now" on your basic homescreen. (look at the screenies).
I love it antony! really clean and sharp

The now playing in your example is at least 2x as big as it is on my screen...

Hi All, to those who prefer bar at bottom, i am trying to do a close as possible port and default in aeon alpha14 is as ive done. i would like to add an option to move bar to the bottom but as vergo correctly stated this breaks nowplaying and rss and i prefer to have them as not, and i cant live with a small nowplaying at the bottom..

the clown, i took a screenshot of aeon alpha then a screenshot of mp running my aeon skin and overlayed them in photoshop to get the sizes and the now playing screens are to scale. i could have missed something tho.. as for the weather i am looking at way of adding it to the timepanel as in aeon(although no look as yet cant seem to get them to ratate) any ideas?.

Hi All, i am finally happy with the basichome.xml see what ya think..

Dude that looks insanely good :D

I love it :) Hoping it will work with 1366x768 as well, because this looks very promising.. Well I know it will work, but things could get misplaced etc.. If it doesnt work Ill rework it to 1366x768 myself :p

Looks very promising Anthony.

Does the XMBC version differ a lot from the MP version, or is the XML content more or less the same?
In other words... Do you have to make a lot of changes whenever a new XBMC version is released?

Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

Many thanks for the answer. So far I've used Logitech's Harmony hub. This allows you to control all components (including the media portal). I have now contacted the Sofabaton hotline. It should also work here like with the Harmony. Unfortunately, not all of the IR codes are correct. You can also learn commands here. But that doesn't...

MP1 MP2 MP2 - V2.4.1 Mouse support for timeshift DE
I guess it's really a rare case, most users use remote controls, then keyboards and last mouse. I tired to design things mouse friendly as much as possible, because it was almost impossible when I joined the team. As former WMC user I quickly decided to create a WMC-like skin which comes as close as possible in terms of appearance and...
