BlueTwo reskinned for 1280x720 (mp .2.0.4) (4 Viewers)

When i enable the skin it appears in chinese or similar text. How can I enable english? I have the same issue with both the MCE and Blue2 skin.

both 1280x720 skins, or the default skins? .while i guess its possible, I'm not sure how it could be a skin problem. if you are having problems with the default skins too, its definately an MP problem...I had something kind of similar once, mp would only give me the secondary audio stream when watching tv. Everything was in spanish no matter what i did. I think i had to uninstall/reinstall MP to fix it.

A bump for a few corrections:
-fixed alignment on check listcontrols
-fixed formatting on mystatus preference page
-fixed mulitple "X Objects" in some pages of my tv
-fixed broken link to start page animation, it now appears in the top left corner.

the link in the first post of this thread has been updated. The smaller file size is because i have not included the fonts. Please post any other error or suggestions to this thread...when I think the skin is ready, I'll put in a request for the skin to be listed on the main mediaportal site.

However, it looks like there have been some more changes ( ) to the base code, as I have noticed the following (using today's CVS):

Under "Preferences", the "Alarm interval (in seconds) button looks like it should have a pale blue surround, like the buttons above it do?

In My Music, once a track is selected, the skin "hangs" (cannot select another track, or go back, etc) and only ATL+F4 will get out of MP. The default BlueTwo is OK.

In My TV, the buttons for "Group" and "Channel" have changed - instead of having right and left arrows, clicking on one of those buttons now brings up a new dialog box from which to select the channel or group. I am referring here to the way that the default BlueTwo now works.

I haven't uploaded any of the recent cvs versions of mp. I usually take the first few weeks after an official release and try to get the bugs for those people who don't use the cvs versions. By the end of the month i'll be updating the skin for cvs versions and uploading those to the server. Without looking at a cvs version, i can say a couple of things about the errors/changes:

This is intentional...i didnt think it looked very good to have a button and that spin control out in the middle of the screen and the list underneath. I could put a button like background behind the spincontrol to make everything look the same.

This isn't a big change in code, probaby just have to change the type tag and remove a few of the other tags. The same changes were made to the music screens a while back.

This one kind of makes mp unusable with the skin til i fix it...and i think its going to be time consuming. I can either find the code that's changed, or take the xml code from the original blue two skin and rework it line by line. Either way, it will be the first thing I address.

Thanks again for pointing out the errors i listed a couple of posts back. Before I submit the skin to the team-mediaportal site, i would like to get as many bugs as possible worked out.

I`m using internet tv stations in My radio and with this skin I can
no longer choose fullscreen with my remote. It only works hitting
X on my keyboard. The skin, however is working and looking perfekt otherwise.

Update: Navigation dont work at all in My radio with latest CVS 01-31

As Boilermaker says throughout this thread, this is not currently maintained for CVS versions, so you will have to use another skin or live with the issues until he does.

i'm having some probems figuring out where the changes are in mymusic. I've essentially had to start from scratch from the original blue two skin. Please be patient; i will get something out as soon as possible.

thanks SteveV, i actually caught the extra files and have already reskinned them. i think i fould the problem, i had to take out a few lines of code and change the background image for the overlay in the musicOverlay file...it makes sense because that file is used in both my music and myradio, the two sections that were having problems.

I have noticed in the last two weeks that most of the dialog xml files have been changed. Once i take go thru the skin and make sure the dialog screens work, i'll put out a cvs version.
