About your issue reports I have fixed the following;
* drop down menu in Moving Picture (visibility problem)
* added logos below big poster

both will be included in next version of x-factor that will be released in about a week.

I will not have time for looking at the myEmulator in the near future but will look at it as soon as I get some more time.

I have 2 questions:
1
I recently noticed something with X-factor.
When (in movingpictures) slecting a movie, there are a number of symbols visible. 720p 1080i/p DTS MP3 etc..
I noticed that I don't see just "DTS". Almost all the time "DTS-HD" is showing. Even with older movies. Can you check if the correct image is showing when a movie has standard DTS / DTS-HD audio?

What does next release of X-factor holds in store for us? Are there any cool new things, views or visual effects I can already get excited about (Ofcourse this question is not life threatening if not anwsered.) Things have been a bit quit about that. But history shows us nearly every release has been mindboggling fantastic.

First of all thanks for this excellent skin which made mediaportal a beauty !!!

I report an issue in code.google site but apparently you delete it, so i thought i was wrong and try another time and unfotunatly i lost all the menu again...

So i would like to know if i'm the only one to have this problem.

The problem is :

1. Open xfactor menu editor
2. Change in the sub menu "Music" by "Music & videos"
3. generate a new basichome
4. Save the configuration
5. open mediaportal and it fail with the message "unable to read the basichome.xml" (or somethinsg like that)
6. so i close mediaportal with "alt+F4"
7. return to the xfactor menu editor wich is completly blank and it just can see about twenty xml file of plugin...

To reverse back i only find the "solution" to reinstall xfactor...

The configuration : Windows 7 64bits - mediaportal 1.1 beta 2 with svn 24669 - xfactor r479 - moving picture 1 beta 2
Plugins : multishotcut - myprograms - showtimes - music video - lastfm - radiotime - online video - intelligent frame correction

First of all- I just want to say that it's really nice to see that although the skin was amazing before you're constantly trying (successfully i must add) to make it better and i thank you for it.

on that note, there are a couple of issues i have with the latest version of the skin-

1. There's still no IMDB rank in moving pictures in poster view.
2. When pressing info button i don't really like the fact that i need to press up to see the info, and really wish that there was a way to disable it. but also, pressing the up key isn't working well at all.
3. When showing the OSD while watching TVseries episode, the thumbnail used to be the poster of that show, now it is a thumbnail of some random snapshot from the episode, which is in an incorrect ratio so it's all warped and you can't really tell anything from it.

Feature request:

Logos in the music section, is it possible? As XFactor is using that unique music info plugin to display codec etc, could that possibly be converted into logos instead of text?
a) because I don't really think those +++ look all that great when no tracks are selected.
b) because logos look awesome.

My suggestion for supported ones would be: Stereo/Mono, MP3, OGG Vorbis, FLAC, APE etc.

Hi all,

I have a problem with the fanart. In Xfactor menu editor I got for music & radio Random music, Movies random Movingpictures, and for Games & Sports games\default.jpg. Pretty much default settings of the Xfactor skin. But only the Games & Sports image shows in Mediaportal, all the other Random fanart does not show.

Using the latest stable build of Mediaportal (1.0.2) and R479 of the Xfactor skin and version 1.0 of the Fanart Handler.

What can it be that the fanart does not show up in Mediaportal?

I have exactly the same problem. BTW: where did you get R526? It's not yet available in the Thread

Hi,

There is a bug in the x-factor R479 menu editor that prevents fanart handler to display images properly. The new version that I hope to release very soon (a day or two) will fix this and many more menu editor issues
