Almost everything at this point is only in 5.1 surround. The only media that actually has real 7.1 sound is blueray or hd-dvd with a truehd or dts-hd track. I believe it has to with key frames. I know i can ffwd dvd isos wonderfully, but xvid are choppy at best. Perhaps I should make an xivid and make every 30 frames a keyframe, and test that.

I just installed MediaPortal RC1.
When I watch an AVI or Xvid movie with an .srt file I can't get any picture. The sound is there and the movie is working without subtitles. x264 movies also works with subtitles. I use the CCCP codec pack.
