If you haven't managed it yet, look in the MySql config file for the "bind-address". I think you need the external IP Address there.
Also the user connecting to the mysql server needs to be allowed to connect from a defined or any (%) IP address.

I have downloaded the newest driver that support my video card (ATI=AMD says that it is 10.2).
Unfortunately that is not true. After few test, the last that work well (with MediaPortal) is 9.1.

Ok. I tried some things. I disabled all plugins and MePo started. So, I enabled them one at a time until I found the culprit. It apparently is the Weather Module in the InfoService plugin!
