Just did a test..
Had to wait the 5 minutes...
But the problem was due to the fact that the machine had a new IP...
The TV Client could not connect to the TV Server..
And maby thats why it did not work..
Changed it to use the machine name..
And hey presto it's working again..

If I watch a recording, the look and feel of the skip steps is like in previous versions of mediaportal. Only when watching live TV the look and feel is different and I don't see the skip steps at all...

Thanks, but i solved it in another way.
At the TV Server Configuration there is an option to wait xx seconds before detecting cards.
I set it to 5 seconds and the problem is gone.
So i think that the Terratec card needs longer to initialize.

If you are using IR Server for your remote, than you can assign any screensaver to a macro, and assign the macro to one of the remote buttons.
