might be a problem with your video-card driver. 8.1.6.2 is a very old version, maybe you should update it. If you used an even older driver before you should try switching back to it.

I have a similar problem when playing DVD-files using the internal player. The image is very blocky and also poor blacks/Shadows. Also parts of the image are misaligned when showing pans.
