I'm not fully sure, but I understood the software/hardware decoder items was for analog only. Digital tuners recieve a MPEG stream of some sorts anyway, so no probs there.

You can use the graphedit program in the downloads section to open the media your having trouble with. You should be able to pinpoint there where the problem is (codec/video rendered/merit problems). It also lists all the installed codecs so you can see if any are missing.

I have also seen this problem. Seems the new autotune function needs a stronger signal. When connected to the antenna in my livingroom it only found about half my channels. (Both for my DBT-C and my Analog card). But when connected to my computerroom antenna outlet it finds all channels.

If I select browser after starting mediaPortal it works fine. If I have viewed TV and then select browser I only see the top bar and background. If I move the mouse around various things pop up and disappear again immediately. I am using 0.2.0.0 RC2 cvs 3/3/06 with the PROJECT X skin.

from what you tell there is only one possible answer ... you have two boxes and you need to s-video-in's - so you need 2 PVR150's ...

Yup, I saw your posts after I posted. I'm not sure why E* would be such a problem. I hope that this issue gets resolved soon, too. I've tried just about everything -- the most usable thing was MyTheatre/Sage integration, but that too is kludgy at best. I sincerely hope that MP gets its DVB issues resolved. In the meanwhile...

For some reason, exclusiveDirectX mode did not resolve my tearing issues. Ender and I troubleshot it quite a bit, and he only saw it with the nV PureVideo codecs. It was pretty pervasive for me on all media even Xvid and Divx so I doubt it was related strictly to the Pure Video codecs.
In any case, if your problem is resolved...
