Hi TarX,
A few months ago I bought an Antec NSK2480. Actually, on the American market, it was on sale as NSK2400. It was sold as refurbished, meaning it had no power source. The case had silver faceplate, like the one in the link you provided. YOU ARE LUCKY ! The frontplate is made of plastic and is completely removable. However...

I suggest Scynthe Ninja Mini without fan for the Antec Fusion case. 1 of the 2 12cm case fans set to "low" is enough for 30-40°C CPU temps, even with a 90 Watt Phenom.

It's not completely quiet yet with the included fans, but that can be improved I'm sure. It's just that I ended up in another dilemma... ->I can't connect it to my ancient CRT TV :(

Even under heavy load (e.g. I had a disk die on the 8x500GB array, and replaced the disk last night and started the rebuild) the CPU load is pretty low - still under 10%. That's with the CPU running at full power. I can't use the power saving feature of the processor because TV Server and cool 'n' quiet don't get along...

Update
Hi,
i wanted to give you a little update: I have now bought an 8500Gt 512 MB PCIe with passive cooling.
I think i have made a good choice. I use purevideo codec for TV and most videos, and the quality is better as with my old x700. The card gets a little bit hot i think, so maybe i willl get a different passive cooler.
I...

To finish this thread,
I have bought a cheap Gainward HD4650 with 1024 DDR2 and a HDMI, DVI and VGA on board.. I agree about a new setup being preferred, btw. THe newer video cards are just better at decoding h264. But, if the cost of a new system makes it impossible, a 7700 agp for 50-60 bucks might be a short-term solution until a completely new rig can be afforded.

Hi,
I'm trying to setup this card as DVB-S2 Tuner Card in MediaPortal.
The card is currently shown as a DVB-T - Tuner, not a native DVB-S2 Card.
I used this tuner together with a FireDTV-S2 in VMC before.
What drivers should be used for the NOVA-HD-S2?
Thank You!!!
Best Regards
Wurlitzer

Is anyone familiar with the Vantora HDMI Splitter? I am trying to find a product that with take the inputs from a HTPC (DVI from the video and TOSLINK from the audio) and send them to my two receivers.
This product seems like the right thing at a reasonable price. Does anyone know if it works well?
Thank you.
