Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
(Sorry - my last post sounded like a bit of a rant didn't it! Nothing personal folks...)
The stick I'm using is a Freecom Databar. I bought it because it was the cheapest 4GB stick I could find at the time, mostly as an experiment. Dabs still have them listed here, but weirdly for electronic kit the price seems to have gone up...

Just tried using NZ. Same problem. Channels are found but appear encrypted (not the case) to TVServer, it will not preview (no error) and will not display in MP.

You don't have to scan the second one!
Just use the scan result from first scan.
Hereafter map each channel to whatever tuner card.
If You have 2 tuner and receive 2 mux, You can map channels from the first mux to tunercard1, and channels from second mux to tunercard2. This way You can watch and record as many programs as You like.

The Remote works well with software of Pinnacle. And Pinnacle card works perfect with Media Portal.
