I didn't have the "toggle input layer" in the macro, but rather as an additional "no condtion" action in the layer. It was only ever processing the single action per layer.

No there is no "stable" SVN. But I find recent SVNs to be very stable for me.
There has been a lot of work done by the development team to iron out bugs in SVN, as is evidenced by the changelog. So I recommend that every use a recent SVN. If you find a bug in it, report it and it should get fixed.
