I think it's solved (hard to see with 8500 tracks). I've unticked the option not to update existing songs in the database. Updated the database and allot of new songs appeared...

Oh it was not the solution, it works only for a few minutes. The only Solution was to delete the Database and make a new Search.

I figured it out, and as usual it was a tagging problem, not a Mediaportal problem.
The tagging software I was using was missing the second disc of a number of albums. So for example when I changed "Bush, Kate" to "kate Bush" it wasn't changing it in the second disc in the Album Artist field. Fixed it and it works fine now.
