As a guide, my livingroom client with 4GB ram (will effect the space used for pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys) and a full W7 Ultimate 32bit installation with MP, Total Media Theatre platinum and drivers uses only 15.3GB of the 64GB SSD in there. You can easily get away with a 32GB SSD and still have bags of space for a dedicated MP install.

Check that MP isn't blocked in FFDshow config -> Direct Show control -> 'Use ffdshow only in' section.
It won't appear in the MP DVD codec choices unless you have the MPEG2 codec enabled.
Try adding 'FFDshow Video Decoder' instead of 'ffdshow raw filter' in DVD post processing.

I do not put my HTPC into standby, only the server.
When HTPC turns on, it wakes up the server with WOL. Problem is that TV does not always work and a restart of MP client is required ( only MP, not complete reboot ).
Anyway, the problem is solved by using 1.1.0 RC1 and MPTray. I was using...

I agree with you. In fact, I've got DVBViewer installed in my system so I can move my dish with it. If you have a "preferred" satellite you want to see and record channels of, you can configure MP as no diseqc system, and make a profit of its reliability. If you see usually channels for more than 1 satellite, then it's not a solution...

Not sure about TVServer, but I suspect it is inside the SQL database.
