Today i accidently found an obviously illegal-content-offering site...
I tried seting to LAV only and that did not fix the problem. So I did what Brownard suggested, uninstalled SAF V6 and only installed the LAV filters and that seemed to fix the problem. I can now play the 720P sources.
So problem seems to be ffdshow DXVA codec related.
