Latest Version:

- Restored "Browser" Mode as an option. You can now configure player type in the site configuration settings and set it to Internal or Browser. This will override whatever is set in Onlinevideos xml settings. Default is "Internal" (Playback via rtmp)

Setup Instructions:
1.) Install mpe1 from this post
2.) Make sure you have the latest version of https://www.team-mediaportal.com/ex...diaportal-iptv-filter-and-url-source-splitter installed, see @Ministerk s post about details
3.) Configure site settings for the amazon site and choose your preferred player type
4.) Set your amazon settings to "flash" here if you want to use the "Internal" player: https://www.amazon.de/gp/video/settings?ie=UTF8&ref_=sv_atv_5&
If using "browser" playback mode, "silverlight" is preferred

@TheBatfink @yhoogi @babyschuh hope you give it one more try

Of course I will try. I'm longing for this feature. ;)

Btw: I'd like to confiure OV that way, that it jumps directly to A-Prime DE. So I can put it in my Menu as an dedicated Icon - which makes it much more comfortable to access than going through the menus. I imagine having an Icon for OV in general, one for A-Prime DE, one for sky go, one for netflix and so on. Just as having dedicated plug-ins. Is this possible with this Version? If I remember right I have seen such an option in the titan basic home editor.

yes its possible, done that for prime on my mediaportal.
You can either edit basichome.xml by hand or use the basic home editor. I had some strange cpu load issues when using the basic home editor (mediaportal using 50% of cpu just idling on the home screen) but it was very easy to do with the editor. You can just add a menu entry for onlinevideos and choose the site you want to jump to.
But with the cpu load this was no option for me, so i directly edited the basichome.xml, but the xml is not very easy to understand and i just manged to replace an existing entry i don't use (i think "radio")

Have attached my BasicHome.xml, if have used the existing onlinevideos icon, so if someone designs a specific "amazon" icon for titan theme, please share would love to use it but are too lazy to design one myself

@JSurf: works like a charm.
Followed your Install-instructions. Uninstalled both URL-Source splitters. Installed the new IP-TV Splitter 2.1.7 and then OV from your above Post. Works perfektly.
Next Step: Getting its own tile. ;)

Thank you very much.

About the Amazon Tiles: Already made some other titan tiles. Take a look when I find some time do build them.

So I tried out the new version. I also installed the latest IPTV source splitter as instructed.

First test was flash. I got a no URL error (see earlier logs). I then cleared logs and configured for browser. Movie played back OK. Second log is from after this successful playback with browser, added it in case it helps with something.

    Thanks!

    Hi @TheBatfink
From looking at the logs, I think you still have the old "Mediaportal Url Source Splitter" installed.
It is important that you install the "MediaPortal IPTV filter and url source spillter"

mpurlsourcesplitter is a standalone plugin, although it comes "bundled" with online videos (OV asks if you would like to install it).

There are two different kinds of mpurlsourcesplitters:
MediaPortal Url Source Splitter that now is legacy, it is the version that was installed with 1.9 (current version of Online Videos)
MediaPortal IPTV filter and url source splitter, the newer version that will be bundled with 1.10/2.0 version of Online Videos.

Actually I solved this myself. I did have the correct driver (it was the only one which would work). But on the drivers download page, there was an additional item called "TBS6281se V2 Change Mode Tool". There was zero documentation to accompany this. I downloaded it and ran it. It is a tool to detect the current run state of both...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

I think 1.38 is easier, it's a minor addition, judging by the lack of bugs, 1.39 is still a long way off. Ideally, the TuningParameters settings would be moved to MPE1, along with all the skins. Then any minor fixes could be updated quickly.
