I updated the skin for 0.2 rc1 and the link in the first post in this thread. Try that and let me know how it goes. I made the change after you posted above, so it may not solve your problem...i've tested the link from home and work, and asked a few others to do the same; and nobody had any problems. As of now, the skin isnt on any other ftp server that I know of. Some say the server is slow, so you may have to try once or twice on the link. But since its free webspace that work gives me, I really can't complain.

I dont have any other place to put it right now, i'll see if somebody will provide a space for it temporarily. I'd prefer not to email it, because it's only a temporary fix and I'll end up emailing it to several people every time there is a new release of MP. When i find an alternate location, i will post to this thread.

Nope, it's not working.

I just downloaded it now, successfully. I used the "direct link to file:" link. Can you describe in a little more detail the problem? The link you're clicking on, what pops up, errors, etc.? Have you checked your browser's security settings?

those are some good questions civikdude raised...maybe with some more detailed info i can track the problem down.

in the mean time, here are two links. the first one is to the same ftp server, via ip address instead of domain name, if that works, i know there is a domain name binding issue.

yea it is....i'm surprised nobody has mentioned anything until now. on balance, i didnt think the icons added much to the list view so i removed them, solely a personal preference. I believe it was only a matter of removing a line or two of code in one file, so it probably wouldn't be a problem reversing the change.

I like the icons cause they imply the type of the list entry (file, dir, m3u etc.) and also, if imdb info is present, it would draw a nice little icon. Can you reveal how to reverse the change?
