Hi guys,

I'm testing MP 1.3 now on my main pc.. I'm now testing OnlineVideo's and I'm having one problem : (tried with different skins)

I can't do a full update inside the plugin.. When I press the button "full update" nothing happend.. Is this a known problem?

Hi all,
I have a problem when upgrading form OV 1.2 to 1.3
Since 1.3.0.0, I am facing severe stutterings when watching any kind of video
from any kind of source.

The facts I could determine from my tests:

• stuttering only appears after resume from standby.
• any kind of video from any kind of source concerned.
• Its not the stuttering known from too slow graphics cards, rather long breaks around 2 - 5 secs, so no hardware or codec related issue. Codec tests in OV Config all work fine.
• No stutter with any other contents played directly from disk.
• Just restarting MP-client - without any reboot- everything is fine again.
• increasing the buffer from the initial 2% to 5% did not solve.
• Problem definitely introduced with version 1.3.0.0:
  • uninstalled OV 1.3 with the plug-in manager, including removal of all settings.
  • installed 1.2 from the Google code deprecated section.
  • everything is fine again, no stutter after resume from standby. Unfortunately no site updates then.

Anybody have a clue on that ?

Love this plugin, so I'm seeking for some help on this to get it running again.
Logs are attached with start of MP, standby, resume, and then displaying a - stuttering - video from the web.

Have you tried the 'restart mediaportal on resume' option in the MP config (can't remember where it is exactly!)
That may solve your issue...

Thanks for the hint,
but that is not the point. This would be a workaround for a problem that was previously not there. It appeared with the new version 1.3.
So likely something in the init- routines of OV has changed.

I believe that option was put there exactly for the reason you are raising...

Can you attach also log from OV 1.2.0 (the best will be if you do same as in OV 1.3.0)?

Here are the logs from the version 1.2.
As your requested it is the same procedure as in the logs above with V 1.3: Start MpClient, Play mp4 video from the web, stop, send machine to standby, resume and play the same video again - without stuttering, stop MP.
The standby was between [08-08 20:47:01,187] and [08-08 20:48:31].

If you need more information or perhaps a debug log, perhaps send a PM, so not to spoil this thread.
